My Music Preferences
My name is Alycia Rebolledo and I'm a transfer student from Spartanburg Methodist College. This is my first year at Converse as a Junior. I love singing, and I joined my first choir in fourth grade. In high school I began to come out of my shell and perform solos. When I moved from California to South Carolina, I went back into my shell when I started at my new school. I did choir at the new school, but never took the opportunity to advance.I quit choir when my senior year of high school started because I didn't have room for it in my schedule. I still love to sing, but not for an audience. Music has been an important factor in my life because every time I went to another school I felt lonely. It comforted me when I didn't want to burden my family with my problems. An album I find myself returning to is Melodrama by Lorde. To be more specific, I loved the song Liability.
